The Polarization Queen

If you want to get an idea of what a Clinton Presidency will look like, just take a look at the direction of the Democratic Primary. It appears that Hillary will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means dividing the Democratic party. If she somehow gets the nomination, I'm sure Hillary will do whatever it takes to win the Presidential election, even if it means dividing the country. This division grew under Bill Clinton and has become even worse under George Bush. Although there isn't much room for further division, there is plenty of room to become more deeply divided. The next President must not only be able to overcome the division, but somehow soften the animosity and bitterness that exists. I don't believe Hillary has any shot of doing this. It seems as if she is able to bring out the worst in people. Hillary is kind of like Wal-Mart, you either grow to love her or hate her. America cannot afford to have another Presidency like this.

I am reminded of a news special from a few years ago that was about polarization. In it there was this term which sent chills down my spine, "polarization strategist". I mean what the hell is this, someone who is an expert at tearing our country apart? It is no wonder that our nation is in such an awful mess when there are people whose job it is to divide the country while adding hatred and animosity. This has left us unable to solve our problems and get America moving in the right direction. Hillary brags about her experience, but unfortunately part of that experience is in using polarizing tactics to win. It is also unfortunate that these tactics work. The politicians use them to get elected, the news media uses them to generate ratings, and the special interest groups use them to raise big dollars. It is time for we the people to put an end to the success of these polarizing tactics. We must look away from those who try to divide us and towards those who try to bring us together.
