Just about everything evolves over the course of time. These changes usually happen at a slow pace and are more visible as you look further back in time. Over the last 50 years we have seen technology evolve at an incredible pace. It could be said that we have seen more advances over this period than throughout the history of man. The same is true for our accumulation of knowledge. Why is it that these things have broken the pattern of slow and subtle changes? It is because we have worked very hard to bring these advances. The evolution of humanity has followed the pattern of slow and subtle changes. It certainly has improved over time, but what if we could force humanity to evolve at the same pace as technology has over the last 50 years? With effort and determination  we could drastically increase the levels of kindness and compassion. As a matter of fact, we could utilize all the advances of technology and knowledge. These things put us in a great position to speed up the evolution of humanity.
